Corliss Willett Collins is a Proud daughter of a United States Army and Air Force Veteran. She is also Senior Healthcare Advisor in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Industry. A subject matter expert with over a decade of experience in Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Integrity (RI) leadership experience. Ms. Collins has a unique blend of experience in for-profit, not-for-profit, academic, specialty hospitals, health systems, ambulatory, large physician group practices, clinics in inpatient and outpatient settings. She performs high-level RCM investigations, risk mitigation, and remediation evaluations. Electronic Health Records (EHR) implementations, system integration, and migration initiatives. Key performance indicators (KPI) to enhance financial performance, compliance, reimbursement, and patient satisfaction integrity, and optimization outcomes. She is committed to driving best practice and optimization excellence in Enterprise-Wide Policy, Procedure, and Virtual Process Improvement (VPI).
She oversees Revenue Integrity and HIM Operations projects with a keen focus on Hospital, Professional, and Shared RCM performance improvements. With Industry expertise, she has held roles and provided leadership as a Senior Revenue Integrity Consultant, Operations Director of Revenue Integrity, Corporate Health Information Management Director, Lead ICD-10 Consultant, ICD-10 Analyst, Coding Integrity Advisor, and HIPAA Privacy Officer.
Ms. Collins credentialing achievements include Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer with additional designations include Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) and Certified Professional Development Consultant (CPDC). She will be graduating from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BSHIM) degree in May 2022. She will be Earning an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Ms. Collins's Philanthropic commitments include being a member of the Leadership Circle for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and a long-term contributor to St. Jude Research Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
